Confirmation is a process starts in the fall of the youth’s 8th grade year and concludes with the Confirmation celebration Mass with Archbishop Kurtz and Fr. Scott in the winter. It employs small group interaction, service dynamics, and discussions by preparing Candidates to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, giving them the tools necessary to begin the process of taking ownership of their faith and preparing them to live a life of putting their faith into action.
Confirmation is a process of “affirming our faith.” It is a gift from God. It is a choice we each make. The process allows us all to learn from one another, share our faith, work together, pray and yes, have fun! Confirmation is and should be an exciting time and process for us all.
